FAQ about the pictures
The picture I paint is the person himself/herself as I see, the landscape representing the person and his/her life theme.
I visually depict the person's voice and vibration.
A new form of portrait.
Whereas normal portraits show the person's face or appearance, personal landscape show the scenery or the three-dimensional construction specific to the person.
The landscape is different, from person to person.
There is a “landscape” particular to each person
It is a “state” containing certain objects, rather than the “objects” themselves.
Some landscapes are staged in the water; some show the ground; sometimes something is floating in the air, or the wind might be blowing, or there might be a source of light......and so on.
An object is there, within an ever-shifting state.
Each landscape is unique, beautiful, powerful, severe, and nakedly revealing.
Q. How does the “landscape” reveal itself to you?
A. When I speak with a person, I listen to the sound of his/her voice. It might be similar to the phenomenon called synesthesia, where people see colors when hearing a sound, or each letter appears to have its specific color.
In my case, I see a three-dimensional construction specific to the person.
I do not sense any smell or temperature.
An honest story told from the heart, the natural and sincere tone of voice, appear to me as three-dimensional objects.
Sometimes, in case of works of art, the landscape shows up even if I have never heard the artist's actual voice.
And sometimes, there are cases where I cannot paint the picture, depending on the speaker's tone of voice.
Q. Does the entire landscape show up instantly?
A. No, not instantly. It reveals itself gradually.
The first parts that appear are the main features of the person.
It might be close to a state when you enter a room for the first time, and find an object there, something you have never seen before in your life.
I start from watching the shadow of the object, looking at the partial form, and after a while, I gradually manage to bring the whole picture into focus.
And as my eyes adjust, I become able to clearly make out the colors too.
Q. What kind of procedure does it take?
A. I first draw a draft, and then start painting.
Because I am listening to the sound of the voice, I may not be aware of what you are talking about.
I keep drawing truthfully what I saw listening to your voice.
And then, speak about what I drew, straightforwardly.
Q. Will the landscape change according to personal growth?
A. This is the question I receive most.
The answer is, NO!
I have never seen the object within the landscape shift into something else.
This is true for people I have known for decades, including my family.
However, because there is the time factor in the landscape, the “state” “situation” can change.
For example, when a waterflow is the central subject of the landscape, the quality of the water might change, becoming less transparent or gaining volume.
If there is a source of light, it might become lighter or darked, and the temperature or color might appear different accordingly.
Q. What does the landscape tell you?
A. Everything and nothing, at the same time.
When I see your landscape and paint it as a picture, it will help you acknowledge your life mission, or what you should work on based on your personal characteristics.
It shows what you must be careful of in life, or how to approach various activities.
Individual session is necessary for me to communicate what I see clearly.
If you have any specific problems, for example, in the following areas, I can give you advice on how to approach them.
- Work, hobby, learning
- Relationships (love, workplace, family, friends)
- Financial matters
- Health, daily life
- Spirituality, life purpose, inner contentment

Q. I am afraid to hear what you might say about my landscape. What if it is negative?
A. What are you afraid of? Is it because you saw the landscapes of others, read the descriptions, and felt that they were straight to the point, speaking of the truth?
What if my landscape looked bad......
What if I couldn't accept the message......
I'm afraid of knowing about myself......
If you have such fears, please don't contact me! lol
When I explain to people about his/her landscape, I sometimes receive feedback such as
“You are so blunt!”
“You made me face the truth I had been avoiding.”
“I can't take it. It's too overwhelming.”
I am only trying to be accurate in communicating what I saw, and I have no intention to sound harsh or authoritative.
I don't think there is any such thing as a “bad” picture.
A unique, beautiful object can be found in any given landscape.
And such landscapes are always beautiful, powerful, severe, and nakedly revealing, by nature.
When I was a child and was seeing the landscapes of all people I interacted with, I used to wonder whether it's okay for people to reveal so much of themselves to the public.
I was so surprised to grow up and discover that I was the only one who was seeing the landscapes.
Now, I have learned to control what I see, and I only see landscapes when I choose to.
It would be exhausting if I kept doing it all the time, and besides, while I'm doing so, I won't be able to understand a thing you're trying to tell me! lol
Q. Can you draw your own landscape?
A. I have tried.
I took a video of myself speaking, and tried drawing watching the video.
But I'm not sure if I've done it properly, because it's about myself.
Usually, when I draw listening to someone else speak, I am only drawing what I see, and the person in front of me is the single source of information. So there is no room to be wrong nor unconfident. 。
On the contrary, when I watched myself speaking, I found too much information inside me other than the sound of my voice, such as the story I was telling or what was on my mind when I was speaking, making it hard for me to discern the relevant information.
However, looking back on my life, I can't help but notice how accurate the picture turned out.
The picture shows you the best way, and if you follow it, you'll find yourself on the right path.
I confess that I myself had a hard time in the past, when I had done otherwise.
